What happens if a driver forgets to log a trip? +

Can SharpFleet help reduce paperwork? +

Yes. SharpFleet is designed to reduce paper logbooks, manual spreadsheets, scattered receipts, and disconnected vehicle records by keeping trips, deliveries, fuel, tolls, servicing, compliance, and reports in one system.

Do drivers need to download an app? +

No. SharpFleet uses a Progressive Web App. Drivers open SharpFleet in the browser and can add it to the phone home screen for an app-like experience without an App Store or Play Store download.

Does SharpFleet work on iPhone and Android? +

Yes. SharpFleet works on iPhone and Android through the mobile browser and Progressive Web App experience.

Can drivers use their own phones? +

Yes. Drivers can use SharpFleet on their own phones if the business allows that workflow. No special device is required.

Does SharpFleet work offline? +

Yes. SharpFleet is designed for poor signal areas. Trips, delivery actions, and some vehicle records can be captured offline and synced when connection returns.

What happens if there is no internet for a whole day? +

Drivers can keep working offline and sync activity when internet access returns. This is useful for rural work, regional sites, farms, and areas with unreliable mobile coverage.

Is SharpFleet hard for drivers to use? +

No. The driver workflow is designed to be quick on a phone. Drivers can start and end trips, capture readings, complete deliveries, record fuel, and report faults without heavy training.

Does SharpFleet include GPS tracking? +

SharpFleet supports optional phone-based GPS. It is not required for normal SharpFleet use, and it is the only optional paid add-on.

Is GPS included or optional? +

GPS is optional. Everything else listed in SharpFleet is included in the normal subscription. GPS is billed only for GPS-enabled vehicles.

Can GPS be turned off if we do not need it? +

Yes. GPS is optional and can be left disabled. SharpFleet can still be used for logbooks, trips, deliveries, fuel, servicing, compliance, and reporting without GPS.

Can GPS be enabled only for selected vehicles? +

Yes. Admins can enable GPS only for the vehicles that need it, rather than forcing GPS across the entire fleet.

Can admins enforce GPS use? +

Yes, where the business chooses to use GPS. Admins can control whether GPS is available and whether the driver workflow should enforce GPS use for selected GPS vehicles.

Does SharpFleet require GPS hardware? +

No. SharpFleet GPS uses the driver phone. There are no hardwired trackers or vehicle installations required.

Is SharpFleet used for intrusive workforce monitoring? +

No. SharpFleet is designed around operational visibility and recordkeeping, not intrusive workforce monitoring. GPS is optional, phone-based, and controlled by company settings.

Can admins view GPS trip maps and routes? +

Yes. When GPS is enabled, admins can review GPS-enabled trips and map activity from the admin portal.

Does SharpFleet work for trucks, machinery, and equipment? +

Yes. SharpFleet can be used for cars, utes, vans, trucks, tractors, excavators, forklifts, ride-on mowers, boats, Jet Skis, plant, machinery, and other assets where distance, hours, bookings, or usage records matter.

Can vehicles be marked unavailable or out of service? +

Yes. Vehicles can be marked out of service when they are unavailable, such as during servicing or repairs, so they are kept out of normal trip and booking use.

Does SharpFleet include bookings? +

Yes. SharpFleet includes bookings so teams can reserve vehicles or equipment, reduce double-booking, and see who needs which asset and when.

Can managers or branches have their own vehicles? +

Yes. SharpFleet supports branches and role-based access, so managers and branch users can work with the vehicles and records relevant to them.

Are there hidden feature costs? +

Is there a long-term contract? +
